  • An escape room is a physical adventure game where participants work together to solve a series of puzzles and challenges to "escape" from a room within a set time limit. It's a test of teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • We are located in the city center, so parking can be tricky. Unfortunately, we do not offer guest parking. The best options are the parking garage under the city center (https://www.q-park.dk/en-gb/parking/odense/poi/odeon/ with P-19 as the closest access point) or behind the Comwell Hotel and Casino (https://www.q-park.dk/da/parkering/odense/comwell-h,-d-,c,-d-,-andersen/). Street parking is available, especially between Sunday to Thursday on Overgade and Nedergade, but it's unlimited only in the evening.

  • 
If you are a larger team and you want to book all the 3 games with us, it is a good idea to schedule 2 hours for the entire experience, assuming that the restaurant is 5-10 minutes walking distance. With more people, there is always a higher likeliness of delays due to late arrival, parking spot finding, longer briefing, longer toilet breaks, and longer escaping times, therefore it is a good idea to give your schedule some slack.

    

If you are a smaller team with one game booked with us, scheduling 1 hour and 40 minutes should be enough.

  • You can book multiple rooms on the website, or call us, and we'll be happy to assist you with the booking.

  • No, you are never locked inside the room. If you feel uncomfortable or want to leave for any reason, you can open the door at any time.

  • Our game masters monitor your progress and are ready to offer hints or clues if needed. Don't hesitate to ask for assistance when you feel stuck. Remember, it's all about having fun and enjoying the challenge!

  • To maintain the mystery and surprise for future participants, photography and recording devices are not allowed inside the escape rooms. However, we are happy to take photos of you after the game in a specific area of the room. Feel free to capture your own memories in our designated waiting areas.

  • We are asking you to leave all your personal belongings in the lockers, including your phones. Google won’t help you in our games, but emails, calls, and notifications are distracting… :)
Unless you are expecting a super urgent and important call, you are on duty, etc. we are highly recommending you to leave your phones in the lockers to better your experience and spend quality time with your team.

  • To preserve the integrity of the props and puzzles, we do not allow food or drinks in the escape rooms. Water and coffee are available free of charge at the reception and at the waiting area.

  • We are encountering claustrophobic customers on a daily basis who are all comforted by the fact that you can leave at any moment since you are not locked in the room.

  • You do not need to be in particularly good physical shape. However, the game might require you to duck down.

  • We are located on the first floor, unfortunately, without an elevator. If you can make it up the stairs, chances are that you can also participate in the game. You can find seating options in the Pirate Island and in the Mafia room.

  • We do not have a minimum age limit. If you think that your kid can participate in such an event, we are fine with it. However, we would recommend the Pirate Island for families.

  • We do not have a maximum age limit.

  • We are sending your group photos via email usually the same day.

  • The game should take somewhere around 40-70 minutes. Whenever we have the possibility, we are trying to give you enough time to finish your game, even if you are over 60 minutes.  We are playing an introduction video for you before your game and we are giving you a short introduction which should take about 6-10 minutes. We are taking a group photo with you after your game and giving you a small debriefing. Therefore the total time should take somewhere around 60-90 minutes, depending on how long it takes for you to escape… :)

  • Pregnant participants are welcome, but caution is advised in one part of the Pirate Island. Please inform us if a pregnant lady is on your team.

  • 

If you would like to have a different starting time, or if you have figured out that one of your teammates has played the room you booked, or if you want to reschedule for a different day, then just give us a call and we will happily assist you.



    If you have booked your game, for let’s say 6 persons, but you are only going to be 4, that is not a problem at all. We are very fair with our pricing, and we are only charging you depending on how many you are going to be participating in the event. 
If you would like to have your booking updated with the actual number of players, you are welcome to call us, but it is not necessary to do so.

Unfortunately no. 
It is not because we do not want you to be 7 in one game, but because it is simply going to be at the cost of your experience. With 6+ people, there are always some players who are not involved in the game and are just tagging along. Being in 2 games is going to be much more fun for you. If price is an important factor, consider our Mafia room, since it has cheaper pricing.



    We might make some exceptions, but only with families, who have a diverse age range, with younger children, and with grandparents.

  • We are expecting you to arrive 10 minutes prior to your booked time to ensure that we can give you 60 minutes in the room.


  • If you have booked your game, for let’s say 6 persons, but you are only going to be 4, that is not a problem at all.
We are very fair with our pricing, and we are only charging you depending on how many you are going to be participating in the event.

    However, it also goes the other way, if you booked for 2 but now you are 4, we are charging you more according to how many you are participating.

    If you would like to have your booking updated, you are welcome to call us, but it is not necessary to do so.

  • We are not intending to scare you with our games. There are some surprise openings, sound effects, and other special effects that may shock you. However, some highly sensitive groups may perceive these effects as scary but the majority of the teams find these scary for a second and amusing afterward. We are aiming to give you a good experience through the quality of the design, the props, and the puzzles, not by being extremely scary.

  • We would recommend the Pirate Island for families.

  • 
You can just make a booking online without paying for the game on our website. You cannot use the code on the gift card when you are making a reservation. Please just bring the gift card with you when you are coming to play and you can pay with your gift card. 
If your gift card does not cover the entire cost of your game, you can just pay the difference in value when you are visiting us.

  • You are welcome to call us and we will do our best to accommodate the starting time to your schedule.

  • People under the influence of alcohol or other substances may be rejected to participate. However, as long as you are respectful with our staff and with our props, we are not enforcing our alcohol policy. Even if you are just having a chill night out with your friends, we would recommend keeping the beers after your game. You will have to use your brain and we can confidently claim that it is working better when it is clear… :)
 If you are planning a bachelor or bachelorette party in our escape room, we would highly recommend you to schedule AMAZE  as your first activity of the day.

  • We would recommend our Tomb for you. But you would probably want to complete all our games… :)


  • It is generally a good idea to start with an easier room as your first game, therefore we would recommend the Pirate Island.

  • Because it is a smaller and less action-based room. However, it is a very enjoyable game.

  • Yes, we are actively following your game and guiding it according to how you are doing. If you can finish your game in 60 minutes, we are letting you do things at your own pace. However, if we see that your game is taking more than 60 minutes, we guide you accordingly.

  • We pride ourselves on the quality of our prop builds, on the logicality of our games, on being an inclusive and family-friendly escape room, on our hint system, and on constant monitoring of your game.

  • The main reasons for a bad escape room experience are usually the following: inattentive game masters, incorrect resetting, poor game design, and non-functioning props. We are escape room enthusiasts ourselves and we are very much aware of these, therefore we are eliminating or minimising these factors. We are always tracking your progress in your game and guiding you accordingly, we are triple-checking our escape game resetting, our games are well-implemented in the design and extremely logical, and malfunctioning props will not interfere with your game.

    If you got a different impression, we are always happy to walk you through any part of the game that did not make sense.
As long as you and your team have good dynamics and you are arriving to us in a relatively good mood, we can guarantee that you will have fun.

  • You are welcome to give us a call and see whether we can host you.

  • If we are there and if we have the availability, we may host you. However, we would highly recommend calling us first.

  • 
You can cancel your game 24 hours before the starting time, but if you intend to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible.
